It’s August now, and the hot weather continues—how are you all doing? We look forward to welcoming you to our restaurant, where we offer a variety of tonkatsu dishes and set meals!

In this post, we’ll provide a detailed overview of our location within Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C., the two types of branded pork we offer, the details of our “Pork Loin Cutlet Set,” and our “Black Pork Day” event held every Wednesday.

Our restaurant, “Date Katsu Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C.,” is located in the restaurant area on the 6th floor of the main building of Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C., a 2-minute walk from the West Exit of Futako-Tamagawa Station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line and Tokyu Oimachi Line.

Since we are located inside a shopping center, it’s easy to stop by at any time of day—whether you’re taking a break from shopping or strolling around the Futako-Tamagawa area, having lunch, or enjoying dinner in the evening.

Two Types of Premium Pork (JAPAN X and Kagoshima Black Pig) and the “Pork Tenderloin Cutlet Set”

At our restaurant, we use two types of pork for our tonkatsu. One is “JAPAN X,” a branded pork from Miyagi Prefecture raised in the foothills of Mount Zao, and the other is black pork from Kagoshima Prefecture, raised according to our own unique standards.

The “Fillet Katsu Set Meal” features a fillet katsu—made from lean, finely textured fillet meat, breaded and deep-fried—as its centerpiece. In addition to the main fillet cutlet, this set meal includes seasonal side dishes, rice, miso soup, and pickles. This set meal is available all day long.

In addition, every Wednesday we hold a regular event called “Kurobuta Day,” where we offer a variety of tonkatsu dishes made with Kurobuta pork from Kagoshima Prefecture at affordable prices.
